The Bee Connect was created in May 2021 from a shared passion for design and design of Gerrit Jan and Coen Sluiskes.
There was a demand from the market for a sustainable pop-up workplace. With this question we started brainstorming and this eventually resulted in a beautiful and refreshing design. This new design distinguishes itself in terms of design, material and weight. The series of Bee Connect products are made of FSC certified honeycomb cardboard, which can ultimately be recycled for 100%. The Bee Connect is produced locally and can be delivered completely personalized to the customer's taste.

The Casa pendulum clock is one of the first designs in 2020.
The idea of the Casa pendulum clock originated from the idea of literally folding a clock in half. This idea has been worked out and a pendulum has been hung in the double folded form. The idea has led to a beautiful new modern design. The lamp is available in a black and white version.

Dutch Label approached us asking if we could digitize some of their new designs. A 3D model has been made of the Nelson candle stand, the Ann side table and the Muse stool. In addition, photo realistic renders have been made. The beautiful result can be seen on the right.

Save Plastics was commissioned to design a special lamp for their new 'Save Home'.
Inspiration for this lamp came from an old object from Save plastics that was still on site. It was a pair of plastic planks bent into the shape of a drop. This is how the idea was born to make thin strips and bend them. The strips are cut from one of the standard plastic beams in their collection.
The DRIP lamp consists of 95% recycled plastic. The lamp is designed in two sizes, namely in 400 mm and 700 mm. These two unique specimens can be seen in the 'Save Home' of Save Plastics.

The LINE wall clock was designed in the spring of 2018. The name 'LINE' originated from the naturally present wooden strips on the clock.
The inspiration started with the idea of having the hours come out as dashes from the clock. The stripes are then transformed into wooden strips that run diagonally across the clock. This ensures that the clock has a beautiful and sturdy appearance.

At the beginning of 2017, the MR. X table designed.
The name originated from the leg in the shape of an X.
This concept is based on Slide-Art. A design that can be manufactured from one sheet without the use of screws and other fasteners. The basis of the design was a standard stool with a striking lower leg in the shape of an X.
In the end, the design was slightly modified according to the wishes of the manufacturer and Present Time.

The Willow hanging lamp was designed in 2016. The name 'Willow' stands for the arc that can be seen after the lighting of decorative fireworks.
The inspiration started with a static version of a few bows. This concept has been further developed. To get a good idea of the design, a prototype was made of aluminum strips. This has resulted in the static strips being replaced by loose strips around an axis. This was the perfect design, also because it is completely collapsible and can therefore be transported flatpack. The Willow series consists of four versions, a silver and a gold interior and is available in two sizes.

Save Plastics asked me if I could design a coin that they could mint in their 100% recycled plastic products.
The word 'saved' had to be used on this coin because the plastic is literally saved from being burned or ending up in nature. On the back I designed the logo of their subsidiary 'Plastic Fantastic', 'Plastic fantastic' is a cooperative and their goal is to save plastic from nature and ensure that it is not burned.
The coin is designed in such a way that it can be produced with a simple open-close mold, as the coin itself is also made from recycled plastic.
